Aminreza Khaleghian, Director General of Relationships and Int'l Affairs of Pardis Science and Technology Park said, "This complex was founded 20 kilometers away from Tehran in 1999 in cooperation with knowledge base and technology (high-tech) companies to help scientific advancement of the country and two years later it was inaugurated. Today there are 33 science and technology parks operating throughout the country.
