Revision and Update of the "Assessment and Grading Guidelines"

The Office of Curriculum and Textbook Development for Primary and Secondary Education (OERP) has revised and published the "Assessment Guidelines for Upper Secondary Education," "Grading Structures for Lower Secondary Education," and "Primary Education Assessment Policies" for the 2025-2026 academic year. This initiative aims to clarify assessment standards, facilitate curriculum planning, and support the design of final exams aligned with educational and learning objectives. According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of OERP, this revision is part of an ongoing commitment to enhancing educational quality and refining assessment processes within the national education system. The updated guidelines ensure standardized assessment practices and provide a unified framework for students, teachers, administrators, and final exam designers for the upcoming academic year. Furthermore, the grading structures, report card criteria, and learning objective tables for Grade 6, along with the lower secondary grading schemes for the June and September 2026 examination sessions, have been fully updated. These resources are now available as downloadable files for students and educators.
