Head of OERP Sends Message on the Occasion of Reopening Schools
In his message, congratulating on the occasion he said, "1st of Mehr is all students new year day and the month of Mehr is a period of emerging kindness in the sphere of education. It is the month of pens and sheets, lesson and school, and learning and teaching. This year, 1st of Mehr coincides with the day of Arafah."
He also referred to the goals of reform programs in education and the role of teachers in teaching-learning process.
It is worth explaining that "Mehr", that is the 7th month of the Iranian solar calendar and the month of reopening learning centers, also means affection, love and kindness. The Day of Arafah is an Islamic holy day and the second day of the Hajj pilgrimage.
