International Recognition for Tehran’s Eco-Schools

Enthusiasm and youthful energy filled the main auditorium today at Tehran’s Department of the Environment as students and educators from 11 Eco-Schools within Tehran assembled to witness international recognition from the Foundation for Environmental Education for Iran. This recognition was not only for Iran’s achieving full membership status but also for being awarded the World’s Green Star for promoting environmental education.

More Foreign Publishers to Attend This Year Tehran Book Fair

Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance during an official tour of Gilan Province while answering a question about the forthcoming Tehran International Book Fair said this year the international section of the book fair is improved in comparison to last year and due to political approach of government, more foreign publishers specially Europeans will be present in this year

The Opening of First Bulgarian Exhibition in Louvre

UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova joined Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Culture Minister Vezhdi Rashidov and French Minister of state for European Affairs Harlem Desir at the official opening of the first Bulgarian exhibition in the Louvre entitled The Epic of the Thracian Kings, which will showcase the most impressive treasures of ancient Thrace.
