An exhibition displaying a collection of rarely seen photos of Imam Khomeini, the founder of Islamic Republic, opened on Monday in Tehran at the Iranian Photographers Center (IPC).

"As we remember the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution,I wish the highest praise for the leadership and all the servants of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei paid a visit to the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Behesht Zahra cemetery south of Tehran on Wednesday.

According to OERP Public and International Relations, Hojjatoleslam Dr. Mohammadian spoke in a local ceremony held on the premises of OERP celebrating the great architecture and the founder of the Islamic revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the late Imam Khomeini (RA). In his speech he said history has witnessed many revolutions and movements, none of which compare with the movement led by the late Imam.

Some 1.3 million people are expected to attend a ceremony on Friday to mark the 27th departure anniversary of Imam Khomeini (RA).
