Students must be prepared for future’s requirements

According to the Public Relations of OERP, Hojjat-ol Islam Dr. Moheyeddin Bahram Mohammadian talked about educational plans in his interview with Yong Journalists Club and said: We believe that Iranian and Islamic personality must be attended to, more than anything else, for education is a nation, government and administration-constructive system. Basic frame for such task has been described by Leader’s instructions and Imam Khomeini’s will.
He added: to execute these strategies, we have “Reform Document” which is prepared by experts from seminaries, academic community, educational experts and … and is approved by “Cultural Revolution High Council” and also we have “National Educational Plan Document” which define general idea for producing textbooks. To achieve the objectives we are pursuing, we should execute these mentioned documents, so these documents are in fact instruction books for our future programs.
The challenge we are facing today is that we should try to fortify national security and identity by relying on these documents and connecting them, we should train students considering country’s needs in 20 years, to make them capable enough for the policies described by the Supreme Leader for development and justice, continued Dr. Mohammadian.
Considering students’ psychiatric evaluation and social areas of the years to come, we have no choice but to have a revision plan, to revise and reproduce what we have had and is no longer meeting our new requirements, so we would be able to compete in national and international scales, claims head of OERP.
Mentioning that new generation has vast and different needs and style, he said: These needs and styles will be reengineered within country’s strategies, so we could meet primary necessities and create responsibility and interest for plans in new generations. It goes without saying that taking advantage of successful international experiences is an opportunity.
Remarking that “Teachers’ Training System” should definitely be reorganized, he reminded: We should train teachers up to Islamic Republic and “Reform Document” standards so they can execute these fundamental reforms and actually use them in teaching and learning process.
