The 50th Roshd International Film Festival ended with the announcement of the winners in five categories: feature documentary, short documentary, feature story, short story and animation.
The winners of the 50th Roshd International Film Festival were announced in the national and international categories, according to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Educational Research and Planning Organization.
Selected students
Honorary diploma and cash prizes for the first place in the student section for the feature film "We Make Memories" directed by Melika Aghaei; Honorary diploma and second prize in cash for the documentary "Dead Marriages" directed by Negin Najjari; Honorary diploma and third place cash prize for the animated film "Fear" directed by Mohammad Soheil Ansari; The honorary diploma and the third place cash prize were awarded to the animated film "Choice" directed by Zahra (Mobina) Hamzeh.
A commendation plaque and a cash prize were also awarded to the documentary film "Golden Abaya" directed by Priya Hosseinzadeh and the animated film "Pulse" directed by Maryam Karimi.
Selected filmmaking teachers
In the national section of filmmaking teachers, an honorary diploma and a cash prize were awarded to the documentary "Guest" directed by Milad Ismailian and Daniel Ismailian.
A diploma of honor and a cash prize were also awarded to the feature film "Mesqal" by Javad Molania and the animated film "Little Biologists" directed by Fahimeh Zabihi Soltani.
In the student-teacher section, an honorary diploma and a cash prize was given to the documentary film "The First Wave" directed by Zahra Muslimipour; A commendation plaque and a cash prize were awarded to the documentary "Old Culture of Azerbaijan" directed by Faramarz Mehdizadeh and the documentary "Three Days and a Century" directed by Latif Fattahi.

The golden statue and cash prize in this section were awarded to the feature film "Cocoon and Butterfly" directed by Mohammad Salehinejad.
The statue of Simin was awarded to the feature film "Bicycle" directed by Kanjan Kishornat from India and the honorary diploma was awarded to the animated film "Water Mission" directed by Alvaro Casres from Venezuela.
Winners of the International Animation Section
In the international animation section of the Golden Statue and a cash prize for the film "The Eleventh Step" directed by Maryam Kashkolinia from Iran; The statue of Simin and the cash prize of the film "Autumn Winds, Spring Winds and Two Pigeons" by Sadegh Javadi were awarded. The Diploma of Honor was also awarded jointly to the films "The Chicken Nest" directed by Marat Valerievich Narimanov from Russia and "Ian, An Impressive Story" directed by Abel Goldfarb from Argentina.

In the short film section, golden statue was awarded to the film "The Beginning" by "Sandip Kumar Verma" from India; The statue of Simin and the cash prize were awarded to the film "Emergency Situation" directed by Maryam Asmikhani from Iran and the honorary diploma and the cash prize of "Sefidpoosh" by Reza Fahimi
The jury in the short story section awarded an honorary diploma and a cash prize to the protagonist of the film "White-clad", Amir Ali Razaghi.
The prizes of the short documentary section were awarded to the winners by Mahmoud Rahmani and Mohammad Aref, the judges of this field.

The Golden Statue and Cash Prize were awarded to the short documentary "Rare Worker" directed by Manouchehr Moshiri. "I am happy to receive an award from the Roshd Festival," he said at the ceremony. I was 14 years old when the festival started, but since then I have developed an interest in film and cinema and I have been curious about what the festival is like. This festival was the first Iranian film event, and I, a 14-year-old teenager, was curious about what it was about. Today, I heard about the 50-year review of the Roshd Festival that motivated me. I have a lot of respect for this event and I always bring my works to this event with great desire.
The statue of Simin and a cash prize were awarded to the short documentary "Kak Iraj" directed by Jamshid Farjvand Farda.
The jury praised the film "Just Another Day" directed by "Eugene Yulikov" from Russia, and awarded a diploma of honor and a cash prize jointly to the films "Saro" directed by Mohammad Abdollahi, "Khanjan" directed by Babak Taheri. The jury also presented an honorary diploma and a cash prize to the student "Behdis Souri Nasab", the main character of the documentary "Nazgol".
Winners of the long documentary section
The Golden Statue and Cash Prize were awarded to the feature film "One Pine, One Hundred Sparrows" directed by Sayed Hashem Mortazavian, the Simin Statue and the cash prize to the feature documentary "The Fukushima Traveler" by Masoumeh Noor Mohammadi from Iran. An award of honorary diploma was also given for the feature-length documentary "Carp" directed by Lorenzo Esquarca from Italy.
The jury also awarded an honorary diploma and a cash prize to the research section for Reza Majlisi for the documentary "Talaroodan".
At the closing ceremony, Dr. Hassan Maleki, Deputy Minister and Head of the Educational Research and Planning Organization, Dr. Alireza Kazemi, Deputy Minister of Education and Culture, Dr. Mahmoud Amani Tehrani, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council, Hojjatoleslam Hamid Mohammadi, some other education officials and people from Art enthusiasts were also present.
