‘Inappropriate guide books’ pesters in the education system

According to a report, Mohammad Nasseri, an official of the Education Ministry said in a press conference that educational resources are effective in the learning process of students’ sustainable learning, and we must support appropriate guide books; and the distribution of non-standard books in school should also be prevented.

He added: “The holding of the Roshd Festival has begun in 1378 and this year the festival will be held on November 11 in Dar Al Fonoun high school, with presentation of a total of 2800 books from 400 publishers.”

Nasseri emphasized: “The existence of some guide books that are often aimed at teaching entrance exams are high in volume in high school, which is considered a disaster. In fact, the curriculum is like medicine that should be consumed appropriately and its over dosing is dangerous. Unfortunately, the parents think that the more guide books are used by their youth, the better it is, and that's wrong. The guide books now have a strong presence in the lives of students, and this unwanted presence could be considered as a pest to the society.”
