The event which has been planned by Stars Garden Day Care Center in cooperation with Children of the World Research Institute and Shahrzad Magazine features various cultural and artistic programs for children centered on the subject of "Family in Shahnameh”.
This festival will hold various workshops such as storytelling, painting, playing, puppet making, children handicrafts, sewing, theater, and sport and so on for children and young adults.
‘The Shahnameh’ (the Persian ‘Book of Kings’) is the epical masterpiece of the Iranian literature composed by Hakim Abu ?l-Qasim Ferdowsi Tusi (935–1025 AD).
The 2nd Festival of Shahnameh and Children is scheduled for Thursday and Friday September 3 and 4 at Niavaran Palace Museum.
