12 Iranian universities among world top

CWUR which is headquartered in the UAE has released the results, Jafar Mehrdad said on Saturday.

The ranking system which has been released since 2012, is reporting the ranking of 1000 universities based on seven indices.

The 2018-2019 ranking system has reviewed 62 universities among which were 12 Iranian ones, he said.

Islamic Azad University (371 points), Tehran University (461 points), Tehran University of Medical Sciences (547 points), Sharif University of Technology (592 points), Isfahan University of Technology (642 points), Amirkabir University of Technology (689 points), Tarbiat Modares University (576 points), Iran University of Science and Technology (760 points), Shiraz University (857 points), Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (872 points), Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Health Services (966 points) and Shahid Beheshti University (992 points) were listed by CWUR.

The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) is a leading consulting organization providing policy advice, strategic insights, and consulting services to governments and universities to improve educational and research outcomes.

Since 2012, CWUR has been publishing the only academic ranking of global universities that assesses the quality of education, alumni employment, research output, and citations without relying on surveys and university data submissions.
