13,000 students studying at overseas Iranian schools

According to Mehr News Agency, Gholamreza Karimi, head of the Center for International Affairs and Overseas Schools, visited Mehr News Agency and was asked questions about the dispatching of teachers to overseas schools, the education of refugee and displaced Afghan students , The IISCO National Commission and others, and he said that 13,000 students are currently studying in Iranian schools abroad. These students study in 110 schools in 60 countries.

 He continued: “This year, 17,300 people participated in the test for choosing teachers, of which 967 were admitted to the interview section, and eventually we accepted 360 people. The requirements for taking part in the test are that they must have at least 10 years of experience and a maximum of 25 years, which they must have taught in the specialized field for 8 years. In the interview section, within 40 minutes, they must be able to provide a comprehensive teaching techniques. Familiarity with the foreign language and personality readiness that is identified during the test and interview are also our vital criteria.”
