According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Educational Research and Planning Organization, Qomars Jahangardi, the secretary of the 18th festival, at the closing ceremony of the festival at the Dar al-Fonun historical school, presented a report on the festival process: In the year 2020, about 3499 books reached the festival secretariat. 1463 books were recognized as suitable educational books.
According to this report, 1278 publishers have registered in the system of organizing educational resources and 270 books were selected for the 18th Roshd Book Festival. Finally, with the approval of the scientific committee and the jury, 11 works were selected and 19 works were recognized as commendable.
Dr. Hassan Maleki, Head of the Educational Research and Planning Organization, and Mohsen Haji Mirzaei, Minister of Education, were the other speakers.
At the end of the ceremony, in the presence of the Minister of Education, the head of the Educational Research and Planning Organization, the director general of the Educational Aid Publishing Office and the secretary of the 18th Roshd book, the winners whose names are as follows were honored:
