Advisor to the Tehran University dean Seyed Ahmadreza Khezri said the visit of the Russian academia delegations is aimed at fostering international scientific exchanges between the two countries.
Khezri said the Russian delegations will attend the second Summit of Iran-Russia University Deans to be held in Tehran on Oct 20.
He added the gathering is a best venue to become acquainted with the academic capabilities of the two countries.
Khezri said the Russian delegations will start arriving in Tehran as of Oct 19.
He added the ways for fostering scientific cooperation would be discussed during the day-long gathering.
Some 20 Russian and 13 Iranian university deans would attend the meeting.
