27 judges, 5 of which are foreigners will judge the Roshd Film Festival

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Organization for Research and Educational Planning, Saeed Badiee, deputy director of the Office of Publications and Technology for Education, as it has been previously announced, the 47th International Film Festival will be held at the Holy City of Mashhad. After several weeks of the efforts of the Policy Council for the Roshd Film Festival, twenty seven Iranian and foreign professors were selected to judge the films that have entered the 47th Festival of the International Film Festival.

 Engineer Saeed Badiee stated that five of the foreign elected judges will gradually be entering Iran, as coordinated; adding that five people from India, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, Australia and Slovenia will arrive in Iran soon. He also added: “Among the Iranian films submitted to the Secretariat, in the International section, there are 112 short and long films in documentary groups, scientific documentary, short story, long story and animation, where the Iranian filmmakers will compete with each other at the said competition.”
