The second conference on ‘Environment, Religion and Culture’, aimed at promoting intercultural dialogue for sustainable development, opened in Dr Rouhani’s presence early on Saturday in Tehran.
The conference is held in collaboration with the Department of Environment of Iran, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
A number of high-ranking officials and religious and cultural figures from Iran and 15 foreign countries are attending the conference.
