3,000 non-Iranian students study in Iranian schools abroad

Gholamreza Karimi said in an interview with the reporter of ANA that about 3,000 non-Iranian students study in Iranian schools abroad, most of them from Afghanistan, Iraq, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan. Actually the non-Iranian students could study in Iranian schools if they are fluent in Persian. The children of Iranian nationals who are willing to study in Iranian schools, and those of foreign nationals who believe in the Islamic Republic of Iran, and are fluent in Persian, can study in these schools.

 He added that more than 13,000 students are studying in about 108 Iranian schools abroad.
