Talking to IRNA on Sunday, he added that one of UNESCO's programs is to include names of great figures on list of global luminaries.
Names of Mohammad Zakaria Razi, Sheikh Mahmoud Shabestari and Seyyed Morteza Alam ul-Hoda, three Iranian scholars, were included in UNESCO list as the Iranian philosophers and scholars in 2015, he said.
The official further noted that Iran has many great figures for registration on global list.
Following the registration of the luminaries on global list, various programs including publishing their works and holding commemoration ceremonies will be organized at national and international levels.
