The head of Center for International Affairs of the Ministry of Education Gholamreza Karimi has said: Iran hosts 473000 foreign and refugee students. Of this number, 443000 students are Afghan citizens. These students study at 28000 schools across Iran.
Karimi also said: noticing the order of the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution, All refugee children in Iran (regardless of having legal or illegal residence) can continue their studies at Iranian schools.
Karimi added: Iran has accepted that children of foreign citizens should be registered at schools in Iran without any problem.
