50 percent of Tehran’s schools are old and need reconstruction

The head of Charity schools Association of Tehran Nemat Bani Adam said: 40 to 50 percent of Tehran’s schools are old and in need of reconstruction.

Nemat Bani Adam in the press conference of office for renovation of Tehran’s schools praised the activities of late Dr.Hafezi (the head of Charity Schools Association of Iran) and said: Tehran province faces many problems which of them we can refer to the existence of buildings that were built 60 to 70 years ago.

Bani Adam described the efforts of Charity Schools Association as fine but not adequate. He said: at the current situation, there are nearly 600000 persons in Iran who build schools for charity purposes.
