Seven hundred of the world’s best neurologists from 90 countries will participate in the six-day symposium to be inaugurated here Sunday, said Dr. Ali-Reza Daliri at a press conference.
He said presentation of the latest scientific achievements, interactions between domestic and foreign neurologists, and introducing Iran’s capabilities in the field of neurosurgery will be among the most important advantages of the scientific event.
According to Daliri, the inauguration ceremony of the symposium will be attended by President Hassan Rouhani and a large number of domestic and foreign authorities including Serbian President and a number of foreign ambassadors to Tehran.
He added that some 520 articles have been submitted to the secretariat of the symposium, of which 398 papers will be presented as lectures and posters to the symposium.
