6 Iranian professors listed on 0.01% of top world scientists

Mohammad Farhadi further said that the figure has increased to six this year from five in 2015.

He named the entries as: Mehdi Dehqan from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran), Davoud Ganji from Babol University of Technology (Mazandaran Province), Shahram Rezapour from Shahid Madani University (East Azarbaijan Province), Saeed Abbasbandi from Imam Khomeini International University (IKIU) and Taher Niknam from Shiraz University of Technology.

The list of 0.01 percent of top world scientists is released by Web of Science Database, while the list of one percent of top world scientists is released by Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC).

ISC has placed 229 Iranians on the list of one percent of top world scientists. They are involved in the fields of engineering, chemistry, computer science, medical sciences and pharmacy.
