70 Iranian Publishers Participating in New Delhi Book Fair

According to IBNA correspondent quoting the public relations office of Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI), Almost 800 publishers from across India and abroad have participated in New Delhi World Book Fair which will be held from 7 to 15 January 2017 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
19 countries, including China, Egypt, France, Germany, Japan and Iran, are participating in the Foreign Pavilion of this event with books on various subjects of science, humanities and arts.
Different programs such as seminars, panel discussions, storytelling sessions, and workshops on creative writing have been organized at the Children’s Pavilion of NDWBF.
The Iranian publishers will display their works at the Iranian stand in an area of the 18 m². About 340 books published in Persian as well as 160 works of the Iranian contemporary literature are being showcased.  
A Brochure titled ‘A Brief Look at the Iranian Print Industry’ in English featuring information about the Iranian print industry is also offered to the other foreign audience in this event.
The New Delhi World Book Fair is organized by National Book Trust, India, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, working towards promotion of books and the habit of reading in the country.  India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India is the Co-organizer of the Fair.
