The acting Minister of Education Seyed Javad Hosseini in the joint meeting of the Ministry of Education with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology said: the Ministry of Education is the best place to invest in information technology.
Hosseini said: at the current situation, of 107000 schools of the country, 77000 schools are connected to the National Network of Internet. Unfortunately, 30000 schools do not enjoy internet.
Based on the article 69 of the Sixth Development Plan, all schools located in cities or villages with population under 20000 must enjoy facilities like internet access. "most of schools those do not have access to internet are included within the framework of the article 69", Hosseini said.
