90 schools to be built in quake-stricken areas

Over the deadly quake of Kermanshah, striking the region on November 12, 2017, which measured 7.3 on Richter scale, some 78 schools were destructed, director of Kermanshah province organization for development, renovation, and equipping of schools has said.

Reconstruction of new schools have started soon after the earthquake with governmental funds and active participation of the philanthropists, Marzban Nazari highlighted. 

In general some 115 schools are already under construction, however, construction of some 90 schools will be completed by September 23, Nazari said. 

In February the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) announced that it will establish two schools in the quake-stricken province of Kermanshah. 

Kermanshah tragic earthquake claimed over 500 lives and left at least 10,000 injured. The earthquake was so strong that it razed some 19,000 houses along with some schools and other facilities to the ground.
