Speaking in a meeting in Bandarabbas, south of Iran, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohsen Qara’ati said there are 300 verses in the Holy Book about management.
Acting upon these Quranic principles will lead to the resolution of many problems in society, he added.
Any manager who does not carry out his duties properly has failed to act upon the teachings of the Quran, Hojat-ol-Islam Qara’ati stressed.
He said there needs to be a Quranic movement in society in order to settle the problems in society.
Many scholars say management that is considered to be one of the most important subjects of modern times is derived from the knowledge that Quran has given us.
Many of its principles and theories that were made in 16th or 17th century are derived from the knowledge that the Holy Quran gave us 14 centuries ago.
Hence, the 300 verses in the Quran on management should be studied for explaining the managerial view of the Holy Quran.
