All plans of Ministry of Education in concentrated on execution of “Reform Document”

Congratulating victory of Iran National Football Team in 2018 Russia World Cup qualification tournament and entering this international event, Dr. Fakhreddin Danesh Ashtiani said in his meeting with High Council of Students’ Sports’ Talent, at Shahid Rajaei Building: Such events which brings joy and happiness to our people is valuable and must continue, reports Public Relations of the Ministry of Education.

Insisting that all activities of the Ministry of Education is centered around executing objectives of “Reform Document”, he continued: One of the items mentioned in the “Reform Document” is finding and managing different talents of students and we have got to have proper planning and appropriate educational contents to fulfill this important matter.

Member of “cabinet of planning and hope” continued: God has granted each individual a gift and it is educational system’s duty to identify these gifts and come up with a plan to blossom them, for each student is blessed with a different gift and this is what should become a part of culture. It goes without saying that those who follow their talents will be successful individuals in their social lives, too.

Students’ health directly effects quality of education and so we should pay serious attention to physical training in schools, especially elementary schools. Increasing physical training classes, training courses for physical trainers and equipping schools are priorities of 11th administration and we have already gained some achievements in this regard. If we want to be successful in sports both nationally and internationally, then we have no other way than to invest on schools.

He referred to a 1,150,000,000,000 IRR budget, allocated to schools’ physical training and sports and said: More than this, there is a 1,530,000,000,000 IRR credit assigned to develop schools’ sports and physical training from value added taxes in 1396 (2017-18) budget, of which, 900,000,000,000 IRR is dedicated to provinces.

Claiming a good cooperation between Ministry of Sports and Youth and Ministry of Education, Ashtiani remarked: We hope expanding and developing this cooperation could lead to more successes in schools’ sports and therefore professional sport nationwide.
