He recalled about Imam Hussein’s epic and lessons of the Ashura movement: “The preservation of the independence and freedom of Muslim nations and the rule of Islamic and human values in today's world is not possible except by taking the path of Imam Hussein.”
He emphasized: “The lessons of Ashura and Imam Hussein (a.s) have inspired the Shia followers not only today and yesterday, but also many liberators and freedom fighters of the past who have learned from Imam Hussein’s movement, and have been proud of it, like Gandhi, the leader of Indian independence.”
