Austrian university delegation began its first-day visit to Iran from Ministry of Science and held a two-hour meeting with deans and international managers of universities on Saturday, discussing academic ties and cooperation.
Meantime, Kharazmi University held a meeting today hosting 7 Iranian and 7 Austrian academic members.
The visiting delegation then visited Amirkabir University of Technology, Shahid Beheshti University and Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training University to exchange views and discuss the educational and research issues with Iranian counterparts.
Iran-Austria joint conference is slated to be held tomorrow in Kharazmi University and deputy ministers for education will give a report on the status of higher education and the budget needed for international projects.
Austrian delegation will leave Iran on Sunday.
