Ayatollah Rafsanjani's ancestral home to be registered on Nat'l Heritage List

Hassan Hosseini further said that the ancestral home, which dates back to the first Pahlavi era, is located in Bahreman, Rafsanjan, in the southern province of Kerman.

He added that the dossier of the ancient house is being drawn up.

The house extends over an area of 1,200 sq.m. and has a built-up area of 350 sq.m., he added.

The house is of great importance in terms of its architecture, he noted. It has a great hall surrounded by other rooms, a wind tower and an old-style kitchen, he concluded.
