Belarus, Iran to Broaden Academic Cooperation

During the meeting in the Belarus capital today, Oveisi said that working out a comprehensive scientific and technical framework will help boost cooperation between the two countries’ scientific and academic institutes.

"There is no obstacle in the way of mutual cooperation in the scientific field and transfer of technological know-how, exchange of instructors and students and undertaking joint projects in the field of advanced technology,” he added.

The chancellor of Belarus State University of Technology, for his part, called for planning by the two countries’ institutes for implementing joint scientific projects.

Transfer of technology, exchange of student and instructors and commissioning of memoranda of understanding already signed by the two sides were among other issues discussed by the two officials.

Belarusian State University of Technology is one of the leading educational and scientific centers of the Republic of Belarus. It was founded in 1930. Now the University is a large multi-profile educational and scientific center in Belarus.
