Certificates of honors for Iranian children drawings in Czech exhibit

All the Iranian participants were members of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IILDCYA).
A total of 21,380 drawings from 71 world countries have entered the competitions with the theme of ‘Light’.
Five participants from the western province of Kermanshah, and five others from Sistan-Baluchestan, Isfahan, North Khorassan, Gilan and Golestan provinces achieved the certificates of honors.
IILDCYA has forwarded 553 drawings and 152 photographs to the competitions. It received Rose of Lidice Medal and a certificate of honor for actively cooperating with the exhibition.
The exhibition was established in 1967 to commemorate the child victims from the Czech village of Lidice who had been murdered by German Nazis, as well as other children who had died in wars.
