Shakeri announced that over 30 programs have been scheduled to be held for China as the guest of honor in the 32nd Tehran International Book Fair on the first 3 days of the event.
"By now, 14 countries including China, Japan, Germany, India, South Korea, Syria, Russia, Oman, Serbia, Lebanon, Qatar have confirmed their participation in the book fair and publishers will still be able to register in the event until March 12,” he said.
About the Book World Market of the 32nd TIBF, he explained: "This section will be different in this edition, as the publishers will have independent stalls to maintain their professional independence. 10 literary agencies and active Iranian publishers in the field of international publishing as well as some institutes will showcase their works in this section.”
"The Grant and Top plans which are intended to back the translation and publication of Iranian books in foreign markets will be followed in the event as well.”
Tehran International Book Fair is the greatest Iranian book event held annually. The 32ndedition of this event will be held on April 24 to May 4 in the Mosalla of Imam Khomeini in Tehran.
