In an interview with PANA News on the sidelines of the 45th Roshd International Film Festival, Deputy Minister and Head of OERP, Dr. Mohammadian said that cinema is a highly effective art and that it can reduce difference and distance, save time, deepen education, and make abstract concepts more objective.
He also said, "Cinema has been discussed in textbooks and it is a field of education at vocational colleges now but more importantly we must utilize this art in the process of education. Now, a part of our educational packages is educational films. Audio-visual media are a big portion of these packages and they will become even bigger."
