Morteza Rahmani Movahed said the tourist visa program at the airport excludes nationals from several countries, including the US, Britain and a number of Southeast Asian states.
According to the official, the airport visas will be valid for 30 days, with the possibility of another 15-day extension.

Following the conclusion of nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1 group (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) on July 14, business executives and politicians from different countries are shuttling to Iran to lay the groundwork for investment and trade.
The comprehensive nuclear deal would terminate all nuclear-related sanctions imposed on Iran after coming into force.
