Conference on Scientific Miracle of Quran and Sunnah Underway in Egypt

Al-Wadi Al-Janub University is hosting the two-day conference, which began on Tuesday under the supervision of Higher Education Minister Ashraf el Shehhi, al-Ahram daily reported.

Addressing the first day of the conference, Majdi Abdul Ghaffar, an al-Azhar University scholar, underlined the need for comprehending and teaching the Quran and acquainting the youth with the sublime teachings of the Holy Book in order to confront intellectual onslaughts.

Hafni Esmail, the educational deputy of Al-Wadi Al-Janub University, also addressed the event, elaborating on the objectives of the conference and its sideline programs.

The main objective of the conference, which is annually held, is to encourage scholars to conduct more scientific researches about the miracles of the Divine Book and Sunnah in various fields of science including medicine, engineering, biology, astronomy, geology as well as social, human and religious sciences.

The World Association of Scientific Miracles in the Quran and Sunnah also contributes to organizing the scholarly event.
