Deputy Minister Meets Unicef Representative

Khalilollah Babalu pointed to the joint programs including developing education quality indicators, educating in crisis, child-friendly schools and sending an expert team to Jordan. He added that in current year, six departments of ministry of education are involved in cooperation with Unicef. He remarked that departments of literacy, rearing and exceptional education will be more involved.

Unicef Iran education officer who was attending the meeting also provided some information on joint programs. She informed the meeting about forthcoming workshops run by experts from Jordan and Morocco.

At the end of the meeting, Unicef representative in Iran asked why more investment in education is needed for further economic improvement and investment. He called educational and academic communities to provide a methodical answer to this question.
