In this festival, books are evaluated by a specialized jury and more appropriate books are recommended to teachers, students and families via three different means, namely in the back of textbooks, adverts in Roshd Magazies and on the website of the Bureau of Technology. Of course, creators of winning titles and selected publishers are acknowledged accordingly."

He criticized certain publishers for their solely commercial views as well as certain media for advertising inappropriate books disregarding experts' viewpoints and students' interests. "Unfortunately a number of people in the field of producing educational resources only consider their own benefits. They ship products to the market that may temporarily result in better marks for school children but also can have long-term destructive impact on students' learning process." he explained. He finally wished relevant organizations to supervise such activities more seriously.
