Dr Hassan Rouhani, the Iranian President, who spoke in last meeting of the Council of Cultural Revolution, emphasized the importance of education system in every country stating that:" Education plays a vital role in providing skillful human resource for the future and strengthening the infrastructure of the country andis the back bone of every country's culture. The meeting was headed by president Rouhani. Education minister Dr Fani, and the SCE General Secretary, presented progress reports on execution of the Fundamental Educational ReformDocument (FERD) during recent months and expounded the roadmap of this document. In this meeting, the members of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolutioncommented about the opportunities and challenges of implementing FERD in future.
