ERPO unveils e-book and interactive book system

The Educational Research and Planning Organization unveiled e-books and interactive system in a unique action in order to commemorate the holy days of Fajr and to implement transformational measures.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Educational Research and Planning Organization, in order to implement the transformation plans of the Ministry of Education and to continue the re-engineering plan of the National School Network of Iran (Roshd), the organization designed an interactive e-book service in the Roshd network. The unveiling ceremony was held virtually on Monday, February 1st .
In the first phase of the implementation of this service, 203 textbooks related to different courses (all textbooks for elementary, junior high and theoretical high school) have been prepared and placed in this service. Students of different educational levels; Teachers, educators and parents are the target audience of the interactive e-book service.

Enabling registration for all students and teachers in this service and their easy access to the basic textbooks and the desired course of study according to the role (student and teacher) and gender (girl and boy); Access to teacher manuals and additional teacher-specific content; Access to special books for girls in some fields is only for female students; Addition of multimedia content including educational videos, audio files, animation and complementary interactive activities to enrich the content of textbooks; Easy and fast access to different sections of textbooks through the knowledge tree and mosaic structure; Ability to flip, bookmark pages, bookmark important topics, write supplementary notes and print pages by the user and save in the user's personal profile and quick access to multimedia content added to textbooks in the desired formats are the services provided in this system. 
Dr. Hassan Maleki, Deputy Minister and Chairman of the Organization, Engineer Mohammad Alavi Tabar, Deputy Minister of Resources Development and Support, Dr. Ali Mohebbi, Deputy Minister of Curriculum Planning and Production of Training and Learning Packages, some managers of the knowledge-based company participating in this project from Isfahan and a number of managers  attended the ceremony and expressed their views.
