Talking to IRNA on Tuesday, head of Society for Islam-Christianity Dialogue Taher Amini said the letter is regarded as a divine pact between the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Christians.
He noted that in the letter, the Prophet referred to Christians as his own kin.
He said his organization has been involved in dialogue with Vatican by arranging 25 conferences.
The scholar also said that most of the cultural activities done by the Society are in English, French and German.
