FAO Calls on Iranian Children to Participate in Poster, Video Contest

In a press release published last week, the FAO announced that the posters and videos must be created based on the theme of this year’s World Food Day (WFD), which is "Climate is changing. Food and agriculture must change too”.
Only children aged 5 to 19 are allowed to participate in the contest. In addition, youth aged 13-19 can take part in the video category by creating a video clip with a length of no more than one minute and uploading it on YouTube using the hash tag #WFD2016VideoContest.
All works must be registered on www.fao.org/WFD2016-contest by September 30, 2016.
"The WFD poster and video competition gives a chance to interested youth and children to visualize and share their ideas on the links between climate change and food and agriculture production, along with the phenomenon of global hunger,” the organizers said.
World Food Day is celebrated annually by FAO on October 16 around the world in 150 countries, including Iran.
