FAO invites Iranian children, youth to attend world food day competition

The slogan of the competition is; 'Change in emigration future, Investment for food security and rural development.'

The representative office asked children and youth from 5 to 19 years of age to design posters according to the slogan of the event.

Also youth from 13 to 19 years old were invited to produce a short one minute video to offer their solutions for food problems in the world.

Interested persons willing to attend competition may send their works to address; WWW.FAO.ORG/WFD2017-Contest until November 10, 2017.

Each section will have three winners and the works will be displayed in an exhibition in Rome.

FAO commemorates October 16, as World Food Day all over the world, which is its foundation day as well.

The ceremony hold in 150 countries , including Iran, and is among important festivities in the UN calendar.
