The first national congress of Student Organization was officially inaugurated in the presence of the minister of education at the old building of parliament. 340 students and educators attended the congress, reported by Ministry of Education PR and Information Center quoting PANA News.
Aliasqar Fani delivered a speech in the congress. In his speech, he said that organizations are opportunity rather than threat. 'students' organizations such as Islamic associations, student Basseej organization, red crescent youth organization, Student Organization and lately health envoys have helped ministry of education so far', he continued.
He added that social and political education is the most important goal of Student Organization. He also said, 'once, learning was for knowing, then for applying, then for living and now there is another goal: learning for living with others. These are four pillar of education. The Student Organization must particularly observe the last two goals.'
He emphasized the special attention of the president to the organization and remarked that the current administration has tried to strengthen it in the past two and a half years.
