According to the Public Relations of the Ministry of Education, Ali Zarafshan said in the opening ceremony of first stem cells and regenerative medicine laboratory in Karadj: Before 11th cabinet, there were 300 student’s research centers in the country and today we have 628 centers.
Intermediate Education’s Deputy added: Students’ scientific development is one of important agendas of the Ministry of Education and to achieve the goals we have programmed and established different plans and festivals according to age, talent and interest of students. Publishing books, educational sites, data banks and … are important requirements of research centers.
Mentioning selection of Alborz province as country’s stem cells secretariat, Zarafshan continued: Nano, Aerospace, Robocop and environment research centers are established in Booshehr, Esfahan, Yazd and Tehran provinces and we are proud that “research” is growing in schools and there are 30,000 students involved in research festivals.
