Forth of November, an Eventful Day in the History of the Islamic Revolution

In 4th of November 1964, the late Imam Khomeini (RA) was exiled to Turkey after his protest against Capitulations or the bill of judicial immunity for American citizens in Iran. In the same day in 1978 some students were killed in Tehran University while they were protesting against the time government that was assumed to be dependent on the American imperialism. The third landmark was 4th of November 1979 when the Students Following the Line of Imam occupied American embassy that was known as den of espionage and the headquarter of anti-revolution operations.

United States has been directly or indirectly responsible for all those happenings. Its contempt for the Iranian nation, imposing terror, interference and plots to overthrow the Islamic Revolution are all instances of US records during the past 60 years.

Being aware of those bitter experiences, the embassy was occupied and the American grandeur was broken down being confident that the "US cannot do a thing". Fourth of November was indeed coined as the day of struggle against the global arrogance.

Today, we ought to be actively present in every stage including renewing our covenant with the supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution, celebrating martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and student martyrs as well as observing the day of struggle against the global arrogance.

And do not be weak, neither sorrow while you are the upper ones, if you are believers. (3: 139, the holy Quran)
