German-speaking authors to discuss German Lit. in Tehran

The sixth session of contemporary German-language literature entitled ‘Three Lands, One Language’ will be held at the Book City Institute in Tehran on Tuesday at 16:30 local time, with the presence of Anna Baar, Austrian author of ‘The Color of Pomegranate’, Ulla Lenze, German author of ‘Brother and Sister’ and Peter Stamm, Swiss author of ‘Agnes’ and ‘On a Day Like This.’

These sessions have been held since 2011 on the occasion of Tehran International Book Fair, where the position and style of German contemporary literature will be discussed and invited authors will read sections of their own books to the audience.

‘Three Lands, One Language’ session has been organized by cultural sections of Austrian, German and Swiss embassies and are open to the public who are interested in German language and literature.
