Girls' Education on their Rights / Women's Role in Elementary Education

Director General of the Department of Women's Affairs of the Ministry of Education at the exhibition of achievements and performance of the Ministry of Education in the 12th government, referring to the activities of her office expressed the education of girls' rights, the study of the role and image of women in primary school books and the screening of cultural women in special diseases and various other programs as achievements.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science's Information and Public Relations Department, Farahnaz Minayi, said : "We have compiled a book in the field of screening women's cultures to screen women's specific illnesses. There are over a million women who work for the government in the country, with 500,000 of them in education system. We are emphasizing on girls health education and our focus is on deprived areas, and we are pursuing an increase in girls' awareness of health.”

Minayi Pour pointed to the empowerment and development of the qualifications of education system’s women and their role in managerial positions and said: "We tried to have special educational programs in order to provide women with having some managerial positions. We also have approved the use of women in 30% of management positions, which should be implemented gradually.”

She referred to the girls educational plans and skills development programs and said: "It has been three years that adolescent and maturity education have been done to girl students, which was welcomed by female students. We are also compiling a citizenship education book for girls.

Director of Women's Affairs at the Ministry of Education said that there are workshops on the girls' enjoyment and happiness in the hands of planning, and we will have an agreement with the women's deputy for good education by next year.

She also mentioned the plans for strengthening the family foundation and said: "In pursuance of Article 102 of the Sixth Development Plan, holding a series of meetings to consolidate the foundation of the family is on the agenda.”

The director of women affairs at the ministry of education, in response to a question about camouflaging and covering the courtyard of girls' schools, said that several years ago, this camouflage was carried out in a number of schools, but due to the high rise buildings surrounding the schoolyards, this was not possible and this plan did not go on.

Minayi pour specifically announced plans for women's and girls' sports, saying: "We have taken the minister's agreement so that women in the offices can devote three hours of their time to attend sports clubs. We are drafting a directive on this matter.”
