In the Conference of Health Envoys held in Bahonar Camp in Tehran, Dr. Aliasqar Fani, minister of education announced that 500 thousand secondary students have been trained as health envoys that can be helpful for their classmates, families and the society as a whole, reported by Mehr News.
He remarked that participation of students, parents and teachers across the country can help ministry of education achieve long term goals.
He said that the program is implemented through joint efforts of ministries of education and health and it will be extended to elementary level in coming years.
