In a meeting held in the Iranian ministry of education, Fedeli expressed her pleasure for paying visit to Iran and stated that in this visit, she has mainly focused on the educational sectors and looking forward boosting the cooperation between two countries.
As regard to the approval and signing the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action ( JCPOA) byP5+1 and the I.R of Iran, she said ;” After the JCPOA we have been witnessed for increased relations between two countries, although they were mostly in the field of economic relations, but due to the common historical background of two countries, expansion of the cultural relations is a matter of great importance .
“The expanded investment on education is one of our indicators in Italy and recently we have made reforms on our education system at the primary, lower and upper secondary” Fedeli said in the meeting.
Italian minister of the education also said: “Joint Cooperation with Iran may include various aspects i. e. exchange of educational experiences and information between two countries. “She added: “we had lots of discussion about cooperation between two countries and now it is the time for execution of the agreement.
Fedeli informed about the formation of joint educational commission between two countries and said that: “We will have cooperation on the field of curriculum planning and teacher training in the future”.
