Head of OERP Condemns Ale-Saud for Martyrizing Sheikh Nimr

The following is parts of his message:

In the name of God, the beneficent, the merciful

'and whoever is slain unjustly, we have indeed given to his heir authority' (Al-Isra, 33)

The news on martyrdom of Ayatollah Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr spread a wave of perplexity, anxiety and regret among the world of Islam.

This evil and unforgivable act by the Wahhabi government of Saudi Arabia indicates their political madness and a new sedition in the region.

Condemning this brutal enormity we urge international assemblies and particularly human rights organizations as well as religious, scientific and political figures to react against it.

'let not the unbelievers think that our respite to them is good for themselves: we grant them respite that they may grow in their iniquity: but they will have a shameful punishment.' (Ale-Imran, 18)
